About Ms. Ann

Ann Giannelli has been Erie Day School’s Grade 3 teacher for twenty years and the Grade 2 teacher for three years. She is a graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education — completing her student teaching assignment at Erie Day School. She also continues to take education classes at Gannon University and Edinboro. Ms. Giannelli is the Middle School coach for Erie Day School's Cross Country Team and also tends to the ‘Secret Garden’ hidden aside her classroom. She has worked part-time with underprivileged children at a local community center while home raising her children. An avid runner, Ms. Giannelli likes to participate in local races as well as running at Presque Isle State Park with EDS students. Ms. Giannelli is married and has three children: Abram, a graduate of St. Vincent College in Latrobe; Hana, a student of environmental geology at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania; and Gavin, who is currently enrolled a Erie Day School. Ms. Giannelli enjoys spending her spare time at Presque Isle during every season, gardening and being with her children.
