Athletics

At Erie Day School, athletics are about more than just the game. Our program helps student-athletes develop excellence on and off the field through character, teamwork, and leadership.
From Kindergarten through Grade 8, every child participates in weekly physical education and has the opportunity to join one or more competitive sports. Our coaches focus on skill-building, sportsmanship, and confidence while encouraging students to push their limits and discover their potential.
The athletics program allows students to build character, leadership, and resilience, develop teamwork and sportsmanship, gain confidence through skill growth and competition, and balance academics with physical wellness. Students can participate in a variety of sports throughout the year, including cross country and tennis in the fall, volleyball in the fall, swimming during the winter, ski club at Peek’n Peak, and soccer and golf (by demand) in the spring.
