About Ms. Jennifer
Ms. Peters served as the Lego League Coordinator in 2020-2021 at Erie Day School. Beginning August 14, 2021 Ms. Peters will color the Art Studio with her creative direction as K-8 Visual Arts Educator. Ms. Peters is well-educated and renowned as a local area artist. Her degrees include an Associates' Degree of Fine Art from Bucks County Community College; a Bachelor's Degree of Fine Art from Temple University; and a Teaching Certification from Kutztown University.
Recently, Ms. Peters taught as an Artist and Facilitator through Erie Arts and Culture working in partnership with filmmaker Alex Staley, photographer Shaddai Crosby, and artist Christina Wolfe among others to design and execute community based art projects for Active Erie. She has also served as an Art Teacher at The Inner-City Neighborhood Art House.
In addition to community-based experiences, Ms. Peters was the Art Teacher/Department Leader in the Ft. LeBoeuf School District for twenty years. All levels of learners were guided in utilizing traditional and digital media and taught introductory and advanced levels of traditional fine arts, art history and digital design.
