About Mrs. Kelly

Kelly Gennaro earned her bachelor's degree from KSU and has been working at Erie Day School since 2019.

Previously, she worked at The Barber National Institute working with autistic and intellectually challenged children inside and outside of the classroom, with a focus on library time.

She worked closely with the kids in regard to reading during library time and helped them to understand the importance of it.

She is now able to carry those skills into Erie Day Schools Early Childhood Program by hosting StoryTime, with the additional benefits of

introducing music.

She has played the piano and violin since she was in elementary school and always thought it would be a wonderful experience to introduce it to young children.

She believes Music and StoryTime combined, ignite all areas of development and skills for school readiness including intellectual,social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy.

In her spare time, she enjoys boating, biking, the outdoors, playing the violin and piano, and spending time with her family.
