Erie Day School Announces Kelly Kovacs as 2026 Spartan Award Recipient

We are thrilled to announce that Kelly Kovacs has been selected as the 2026 recipient of the prestigious Spartan Award, an honor celebrating extraordinary service, leadership, and commitment to Erie Day School.

Kelly has devoted more than a decade of service to Erie Day School in a variety of ways—as an active parent volunteer, President of Parent group, and most notably, a longstanding member of the Board of Trustees. Even after her children moved on from the school, Kelly continued to give her time, expertise, and energy to support and advance the EDS community.

Throughout her tenure, Kelly has been instrumental in guiding several key school initiatives and has consistently rolled up her sleeves to do the hard work necessary to move the school forward in remarkable ways. Her dedication, thoughtful leadership, and unwavering support exemplify the spirit of the Spartan Award.

The Spartan Award recognizes individuals with a longstanding relationship to Erie Day School who have made meaningful contributions as parents, alumni, trustees, volunteers, or supporters. Kelly embodies all these qualities and more, serving as an inspiring example of commitment and service to our community.

This well-deserved recognition will be presented during The Auction at Erie Day School on Saturday, April 18, 2026. We hope you will join us in celebrating Kelly’s incredible contributions and lasting impact on our school.
