Erie Day School is proud to continue its longstanding role as an official testing site for the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT)—the trusted standard for private school admissions since 1957.

The SSAT evaluates students’ skills in reading, verbal reasoning, and quantitative reasoning, providing independent and private schools worldwide with reliable insights during the admissions process.

For many years, offering the SSAT locally has ensured that Erie Day School students—who frequently take the exam—can complete this important step conveniently on familiar ground. Hosting the exam also extends this service to families throughout the Erie community.
