Listed below are just some of the ways in which donors financially support Erie Day School. Regardless of how you give, and what you give to, Erie Day School is grateful for your support.

Cash/ Check

Donors can mail a check donation to the school. Checks should be payable to ‘Erie Day School’ and mailed to Erie Day School, Attn: Development, 1372 West Sixth Street, Erie, PA 16505.

Credit Card

Erie Day School accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. Please contact the Erie Day School Business Office to set up a recurring credit card donation or payment schedule. You can also donate securely by clicking here.

Employer Matching Gifts

Make your donation go even further. Employee Matching Gifts are donations an employer makes to match its employees’ charitable contributions. Employee matching gifts often are dollar-for-dollar. Guidelines and amounts vary with each company. Typically, individuals must submit forms to their employer and can get more information about their matching gift benefits from their human resources department. Erie Insurance, Wabtec, and PNC Bank are a few of the region's organizations that offer this benefit.

Stock

Erie Day School benefits by selling your gift of stock without paying taxes on the gain, and you benefit from making a contribution that would be larger than what you might have been able to donate in cash.

Retirement IRA Giving

The Pension Protection Act of 2006 permits IRA owners starting at age 70 1/2 to make tax-free charitable gifts totaling up to $100,000 per year from their IRAs directly to eligible charities, such as Erie Day School.

Real Estate

Many types of real estate may be donated: your home, farms, commercial buildings, vacation homes, or undeveloped land. This gift may be a way for you to enjoy a charitable deduction based on the current fair market value of your property.
