Honoring the Life and Legacy of Mrs. “Ginny” Rogers

To honor Ginny's incredible life and contributions, a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 1 PM at the Erie Day School. In recognition of her dedication to education, an English language award in Ginny's name is being established at Erie Day School. Donations can be made to the Erie Community Foundation "in honor of Virginia Rogers.

Erie Day School Recognition Tree

Erie Day School (EDS) proudly announces a unique opportunity for families to etch their legacy into the institution's history by participating in the Recognition Tree campaign. Crafted by local artist Adam Stempka of Stempka Designs, this custom piece invites families to purchase laser-engraved birch leaves for placement on the exterior wall at the Griffith Lobby entrance patio.

Renowned Retina Surgeon and Researcher, Dr. David Almeida, MD, MBA, Phd, to guest lecture at the inauguration of The Erie Retina Research Lab

Erie Day School (EDS) is proud to announce that Erie Retina Research, spearheaded by Dr. David Almeida MD, MBA, PhD, has committed to an annual gift to support the science program at Erie Day School by offsetting the costs of lab materials and equipment. To commemorate this gift, Dr. Almeida, a distinguished leader in ophthalmic research, will be visiting the school as a guest lecturer in the Life Science class. This collaboration marks a milestone for Erie Day School's science program, showcasing a commitment to providing students with exposure to scientific research.
